Returns, Sleep Trial & Warranty Policy

At Batuk Sleep, we want you to feel comfortable, supported and confident in your purchase.

Weighted blankets provide a unique sensory experience, and it can take a little time to become familiar with the gentle, evenly distributed pressure. We recommend trying your blanket consistently for several nights to determine whether the selected size and weight feel right for you.

Eligible weighted blanket purchases are covered by our 30-Night Sleep Trial.

30-Night Sleep Trial

If your weighted blanket isn't the right fit, you may request a return or exchange within 30 nights of the delivery date.

For an eligible return, you can choose:

A refund to your original payment method, or
An exchange for another available size or weight

To begin a return or exchange, contact us at info@batuksleep.com.au with your order number.

Return Shipping

For returns made under the 30-Night Sleep Trial:

Return shipping to Batuk Sleep is the customer's responsibility.
For an approved size or weight exchange, Batuk Sleep will cover the cost of sending the replacement blanket within Australia.
Each order is eligible for one Sleep Trial return or exchange.

Refunds are processed after the returned product has been received and assessed.

Return Eligibility

Because weighted blankets are used in close contact with the body, returned products must be received in clean and hygienic condition.

Returns may not be accepted where products have:

Excessive staining
Noticeable or persistent odours
Excessive pet hair
Physical damage
Been altered
Signs of misuse beyond reasonable home testing

Where possible, we recommend keeping the original packaging during your 30-night trial to help protect the product if it needs to be returned.

If your weighted blanket was supplied as a bundle with included covers or other components, all included items must be returned with the blanket.

Suitable returned blankets may be donated to charities or community organisations where appropriate, which is why we ask that all trial returns are kept clean and hygienic.

Size or Weight Exchanges

If the weight or size you selected doesn't feel right, we're happy to help you exchange it for another available option.

The customer is responsible for returning the original blanket, and Batuk Sleep will cover the shipping cost of the replacement blanket within Australia.

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Calm Mats, Separately Purchased Covers & Accessories

Batuk Calm Mats, separately purchased removable covers and accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery where the product:

Has not been used
Is in its original condition
Remains in its original packaging
Has been approved for return by our support team

Approved eligible returns will be refunded to the original payment method once the returned product has been received and assessed.

Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer's responsibility.

This section does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, available remedies may include:

Repair
Replacement
Refund
Another appropriate remedy

Where a product fault is confirmed and Batuk Sleep is responsible for the applicable return costs, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered or reimbursed.

24-Month Manufacturer Warranty

Batuk Sleep products include a 24-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects arising under normal household use.

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

Improper care or washing
Misuse
Accidental damage
Staining or spills
Pet-related damage
Odours caused by use or storage
Normal wear and tear

Proof of purchase may be required when making a warranty claim.

Our 24-month manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and does not replace, restrict or limit those rights.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this Returns, Sleep Trial & Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or another remedy where required by law.

We proudly offer free shipping on all orders across Australia.

Delivery Times

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days
Estimated delivery time is 2–7 business days, depending on your location
Deliveries to remote areas, including parts of the Northern Territory, may take slightly longer

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information.

Tracking Your Order

You can track your order using your tracking number:

Through Australia Post

Enter your tracking number directly at the Australia Post tracking page.

Missing or Damaged Packages

Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows your parcel as Delivered but you have not received it, we recommend first contacting the shipping carrier directly.

If the issue remains unresolved, please contact us within 5 days of the delivery notification so we can assist further.

Take clear photos of the packaging and product
Email our support team within 48 hours of delivery
