At Batuk Sleep, we want every customer to feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their purchase.

Weighted blankets provide a unique sensory experience, and some individuals may require a short adjustment period to become familiar with the gentle pressure and feel of the blanket. We encourage customers to use their blanket consistently for several nights to determine whether the selected size and weight are the right fit for their needs.

Eligible purchases are covered by our 30-Night Sleep Trial outlined below.

30-Night Sleep Trial

If your weighted blanket is not the right fit, you may request a return or exchange within 30 nights of the delivery date.

Change of Mind Returns

Approved change-of-mind returns are issued as Batuk Sleep store credit.

Please note:

  • Store credit is issued digitally and can be used on future purchases
  • Refunds to the original payment method are not available for change-of-mind purchases
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

Size or Weight Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your blanket for a different weight or size, we’re happy to help.

Exchange Conditions

  • Return shipping of the original blanket is the customer’s responsibility
  • Batuk Sleep will cover shipping costs for the replacement blanket within Australia
  • Each order is eligible for one return or exchange request only

Return Eligibility

To maintain hygiene and product quality standards, returned items must be received in clean and acceptable condition.

Returns may not be accepted if products are returned with:

  • Excessive staining
  • Noticeable odours
  • Large amounts of pet hair
  • Physical damage
  • Signs of misuse beyond normal home testing

Where possible, we recommend keeping the original packaging to help protect the product during return transit.

Suitable returned blankets may be donated to charities or community organisations. For this reason, we kindly ask customers to ensure products are returned in clean and hygienic condition.

Product Restoration Charges

Where a returned item requires substantial cleaning, deodorising, lint removal, or repackaging before processing, Batuk Sleep reserves the right to apply a reasonable restoration or handling fee against the issued store credit.

Calm Mats, Covers & Accessories

Returns for Batuk Calm Mats, removable covers, and accessories are accepted within 30 days, provided the item:

  • Has not been used
  • Remains in its original packaging
  • Has been approved by our support team prior to return

Approved returns for these items are issued as Batuk Sleep store credit only.

Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact our support team as soon as possible so we can assist.

Depending on the situation and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, available resolutions may include:

  • Replacement
  • Repair
  • Refund
  • Another suitable remedy

Where a product fault is confirmed, Batuk Sleep will cover applicable return shipping costs.

Manufacturer Warranty

Batuk Sleep products include a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal household use.

This warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Improper care
  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Staining or spills
  • Pet-related damage
  • Odours
  • Normal wear and tear over time

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing within this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights available to consumers under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, or compensation where required by law.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
