Our family lived through this ourselves.
Our son struggled with sleep. Which meant we struggled with sleep too. Night after night, we searched for something that could genuinely help bring calm, comfort, and rest into our home.
That journey led us to weighted blankets.
But what we discovered surprised us.
Even many of the biggest brands had serious flaws.
What We Discovered
As we researched weighted blankets, we found three major problems that kept appearing across the industry.
❌ Problem 1: Plastic Pellets
Most weighted blankets use plastic beads.
They can feel noisy, trap heat, and create an uncomfortable crinkling sound every time you move.
Not exactly calming.
❌ Problem 2: Large Pockets
Many brands use large 10–15cm pockets to hold the weight.
The result? Beads shift and bunch unevenly throughout the blanket — leaving some areas too heavy and others nearly empty.
The pressure becomes inconsistent, uncomfortable, and far less effective.
❌ Problem 3: One Cover for All Seasons
Most blankets force you to choose between:
- Cooling for summer
- Warmth for winter
Rarely both.
Which means an expensive blanket often becomes uncomfortable for half the year.
And we kept asking ourselves:

And eventually, the adults in the family kept stealing the blankets so often… we had to create adult sizes too.
